How do I refill my prescription?
How do I apply the cream?
- Wash your hands before and after each application.
- Massage the cream into the affected area thoroughly as often as your physician recommends.
- For best results, rub in the cream for at least 2 minutes.
- Avoid bathing or swimming for an hour after application.
- Avoid using on open wounds or inflamed skin.
- Do not use air- or water-tight layers over the application site. Light cotton socks will not interfere. If you must cover the application site, wait at least 45 minutes.
- Do not apply heat to the area unless instructed to do so specifically by your physician.
Are there side effects?
- The most common effect is a warm or cool feeling at the application site. This is considered normal and does not indicate an allergic reaction.
- Side effects are unlikely. However, if you are experiencing side effects discontinue use and call your pharmacist or physician.
- Patients who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in the cream should not use the medication unless they have discussed the issue with their physician and/or pharmacist.
- Avoid sun exposure at the application site. Sensitivity to sunlight may occur.

- You are taking any medicines that may interact with this compounded medication.
- You have allergies or other medical conditions that should be noted.
